Serving the Community
As a non-profit animal hospital, Palmer & Riley will support families, rescue organizations, and partners as a central hub for the community.
Free Spay/Neuter Clinics
Palmer & Riley will host a free spay/neuter clinic on the first Saturday of each quarter for cats and dogs.
The events will be open to all community members.
Foster Family Partnerships
Palmer & Riley will continue to support the animals that are in Pause 4 Pause's care by providing vetting at no cost for foster families until they animals are adopted.
Pet Pantry
All Palmer & Riley facilities will include a "pet pantry" stocked with new supplies, food, toys, and grooming items for families in need.
From Pause 4 Paws to Palmer & Riley...
For 15 years, Pause 4 Paws has proudly served the animal rescue community across Minnesota, providing crucial love andsupport to cats and dogs in need. We built our reputation as a trusted organization committed to ensuring that no animal is euthanized due to lack of access to lifesaving medical care. Pause 4 Paws has proudly supported more than 40,000 dogs and cats through rescue, medical care, and spay/neutering since 2011.
Through our years of dedicated service, we have identified a persistent and heartbreaking challenge - the shortage of accessible, affordable, emergency and specialty veterinary care in our community. Far too often, families face the devastating decision to euthanize their pet simply because they cannot afford the lifesaving care their "fur babies" need.
We believe we can address this challenge.
It is time for a bold step forward. Palmer & Riley represents a tangible fulfillment of Pause 4 Paws' mission to provide access to affordable, lifesaving care for all. Inspired by beloved rescue pets Palmer and Riley, this initiative offers a new approach to providing "specialized care for pets." The new animal hospital will work in close partnership with Pause 4 Paws to continue promoting our shared mission of treating all animals with dignity and respect.
